The problem

You're not losing customers because you're bad at your job.

You're losing them because you couldn't answer the phone.

  1. 7:14 PM Customer calls.
  2. Missed call Customer calls another company.
  3. 7:16 PM Competitor answers.
  4. $1,500+ job Booked. On their calendar, not yours.

You never even knew you lost it.

Krelode makes sure every call gets answered.

What it actually costs

One Friday night

It's 7pm. Someone's water heater just let go and their basement is filling up. They search, they call the first plumber. It rings out.

They don't leave a message. Almost nobody does. They call the second plumber, who picks up, and that plumber books a two thousand dollar job before dessert.

You were the first plumber. You were at dinner with your family. You never even knew the phone rang.

That's not a slow week. That's a customer who now has a plumber, tells their neighbors about that plumber, and never thinks about you again.

10–15×

Calls convert 10 to 15 times better than web forms.

BIA/Kelsey, 2014

A missed call isn't a missed conversation. It's a missed sale from someone who was ready to buy right then.

Run your own numbers

Move the sliders. This is your money, not ours.

That's $43,680 a year
A receptionist that never sleeps starts at $597/mo. At these numbers it pays for itself with 2 booked jobs.

Estimate only. It doesn't count referrals, repeat work, or the reviews a customer leaves after a good first call.

Krelode starts at $597/month. Recover a job or two and it's paid for.

Compare it to what you'd actually do instead

The real alternative isn't doing nothing. It's paying someone to sit by the phone, or letting the calls keep going to voicemail.

Option one
Hire a receptionist
$3,050–$5,800/mo

Full time, all in. Salary, payroll taxes, benefits, PTO and turnover.

  • Covers about 40 hours a week
  • Nothing after 5pm or at weekends
  • Sick days, holidays, lunch breaks
  • Rehiring costs when they leave
BLS median wage, May 2025, plus loaded employer cost
Option two
Human answering service
$285–$2,400/mo

Outsourced call center, billed by the minute or the call.

  • Extra charges on a busy month
  • Reads a script, doesn't know your trade
  • Usually takes a message, doesn't book
  • Different person every call
Published rates across major providers
Option three
Krelode
$597–$1,497/mo

Plus a one‑time $500 setup fee. Where you land depends on your call volume and what a job is worth to you. A two‑van plumbing shop doesn't pay what a 24/7 restoration company pays.

  • Unlimited calls, never billed by the minute
  • 24/7 coverage, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Books straight onto your calendar
  • A full lead record for every call
  • Changes made within 24 hours
  • No contract, cancel with 30 days' notice
Get your price

If it's not live and working within 14 days, you get the $500 back

You're trusting your phone line to something new, from someone you found on the internet. That's a real risk and it should sit with us, not you. If it's not live and working within 14 days, you get the $500 back. After that it's month to month. Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice.

The one condition: we need your services, hours and calendar to build it. If we're waiting on you for those, the 14 days waits too.

After the call

You get the whole thing, not a missed call alert

Every call turns into a record like this. Whether they booked or not.

  • Nothing to check.

It lands in your inbox and your calendar while you're still on the job.

  • Even the ones who don't book.

You still get the number and what they wanted, so you can call them back.

  • No dashboard to learn.

If you'd rather it just text you, it texts you.

How it works

Three steps. Usually live within a week.

No new hardware, no new number, nothing for you to learn.

Step 01

Forward your line

Keep the number your customers already know. Forward it to your receptionist when you can't pick up, or all the time. Takes two minutes and you can undo it instantly.

Step 02

It answers

First ring, every time. It knows your services, your hours, and your service area, and it answers in the name and voice you picked. It works out what the caller actually needs.

Step 03

The job lands on your calendar

It checks your real availability and books while the caller is still on the phone. You get the booking, the details, and a summary of the call.

  • No new hardware
  • No new number
  • Nothing to learn
  • Live test call before it touches a customer
A note from David Vancouver, WA

I don't have a marketing team taking my photo, so here's the honest version instead. I build every one of these myself, I answer my own phone, and if yours ever says the wrong thing, I'm the person who fixes it that day.

Who you're dealing with

One person. Local. Answers his own phone.

I'm David. I live in Vancouver and I build these for businesses in Washington and Oregon. There's no sales team and no support queue. If you call, you get me. If your receptionist answers something wrong, I'm the one who fixes it.

The technology isn't the hard part anymore. The hard part is knowing your trade well enough to set it up right, testing it on a real call with you, and staying close enough to keep tuning it as your business changes. That's the job, and it's the whole reason this is done for you instead of sold as software.

No testimonials yet. I'd rather show you the demo line and stand behind the guarantee than make some up.

Built for your trade

A plumber and a salon don't miss calls for the same reasons

Your receptionist gets set up around how your business actually runs.

Home services and trades

Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing. You're under a sink or up a ladder, and the emergency calls come in exactly when your hands are full. It catches them, sorts the urgent from the quotable, and books the estimate while you keep working.

The busier the day, the more calls ring out
Sat 9:14 PM · Burst pipeBooked Sun 7:30 AM

Cleaning companies

Quote requests, recurring schedule changes, and the commercial calls that come in after five when the decision maker finally has a minute. Whoever answers those tends to win the contract. Yours answers them.

Commercial contracts get decided after hours

Salons and barbers

Every ringing phone pulls a stylist away from the chair, and the ones you let ring are bookings. It takes the appointment, handles the reschedules, and answers the same five questions about pricing and parking so your team doesn't have to.

Gyms and studios

Membership questions and tour requests arrive while your front desk is covering a class. It handles the ones that matter, books the tour, and passes you the lead so nobody signs up somewhere else instead.

Auto repair and detailing

You're under a car or running equipment when the phone goes, and price shoppers are calling four shops in a row. Whoever picks up gets to quote the job and usually gets it. It answers, gets the vehicle and the work they need, and books them in.

You're on site all day and estimate requests are worth thousands each. Callers are shopping several contractors at once, so the one who answers gets to walk them through it first. It catches those calls and gets the estimate on your calendar.

What it handles

Not a voicemail with extra steps

01 / 08

Answers 24/7, on the first ring

Nights, weekends, holidays, and the forty minutes you're under a sink. It never queues anyone and it never sends a caller to voicemail.

02 / 08

Books your calendar

Real availability, real bookings, confirmed while they're still on the line.

03 / 08

Qualifies the caller

What they need, how urgent it is, and whether it's worth your drive.

04 / 08

Answers your FAQs

Hours, service area, pricing, and the jobs you don't take on.

05 / 08

Sends every lead

Name, number, what they wanted, and a summary of the conversation.

06 / 08

Screens the junk

Robocalls and cold sales pitches stop eating your afternoon. You only hear about the calls that were actually worth something.

07 / 08

Sounds like a person

Callers talk to it normally. If they ask whether it's AI, it tells them the truth.

08 / 08

Yours, not ours

Pick the name, the voice and how it talks. It should sound like your business.

Questions

The ones everybody asks

Anything not here, ask the demo line or email hello@krelode.com.

Will the demo line book me in?
No, and that's on purpose. The number on this page is our own demo receptionist. It'll explain the service, ask about your business, and point you back here to grab a time with David. The one we build for your business does book, straight onto your real calendar while the caller is still on the phone. Test it on how it handles a conversation. That's the part that matters.
Can I pick the name and voice?
Yes, and you should. The demo line is only our own setup, and we change its name and voice from time to time, so don't read anything into whichever one answers you. Yours is built as its own thing: you choose the name, the voice, and how formal or casual it sounds, so callers hear something that fits your business rather than ours.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. You keep your number and forward it to your receptionist. Your customers never see a different line, and you can switch forwarding off any time you want.
Will callers know it's AI?
Some will, most won't ask. If someone asks directly, it says so straight away. An honest AI holds up better than a bad impression of a human.
I already have a receptionist.
Then it covers the gaps. Nights, weekends, lunch, and the moments your receptionist is already on the other line. It isn't there to replace your team.
What if it can't handle something?
It takes the details and gets them to you, the same as a good front desk would. It doesn't guess and it doesn't make things up.
How long does setup take?
Usually live within a week. We build it around your services, hours and calendar, then test it with you on a live call before it goes anywhere near a customer.
There are cheaper AI receptionists. Why not those?
They exist, and for some businesses they're the right answer. The difference is who does the work. With those, you write the scripts, wire up the calendar, test it, and fix it when it answers wrong. With us that's our job, and we keep tuning it as your business changes. If you'd rather spend a weekend configuring it yourself and save the difference, we'd honestly rather you did that than pay us and resent it.
What does it cost?
A one‑time $500 setup fee, then $597 to $1,497 a month depending on your call volume and what a job is worth to you. A two‑van plumbing shop doesn't pay what a 24/7 restoration company pays. Unlimited calls, no per‑minute billing. No contract, cancel with 30 days' notice. If it's not live and working within 14 days, you get the $500 back.
Where do you work?
Washington and Oregon. Based in Vancouver, WA. Being local is the point. You're not a ticket in a queue.
