The short version

Krelode is run by David Watkins in Vancouver, Washington. We collect what we need to answer your phone and book your jobs, and nothing else. We don't sell anyone's information. Ever.

Who this covers

Two groups of people: business owners who use Krelode (clients), and the people who call a client's phone line and speak to the receptionist we built for that client (callers).

What we collect from clients

  • Your name, business name, email address and phone number.
  • Details about your business: services, hours, service area, pricing and calendar availability. We need these to set up your receptionist.
  • Calendar access, if you connect one, so bookings land on it. We only read availability and write appointments.
  • Billing details, handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

What we collect from callers

  • The caller's phone number, the name they give, and what they say on the call.
  • A summary of the call and the booking details, sent to the client as a lead record.

Call recording is off. We don't record or store call audio, and we don't keep transcripts. Washington requires the consent of everyone on the call before it can be recorded (RCW 9.73.030). Oregon is a one‑party consent state for telephone calls, not two, but we apply Washington's all‑party standard to every call no matter where the caller is. If recording is ever switched on for a client's receptionist, the receptionist says so at the start of the call. If a caller asks whether they are speaking to an AI, it says yes.

How we use it

  • To answer calls, qualify callers, book appointments and send lead records to the client.
  • To set up, test and tune a client's receptionist.
  • To bill clients and to reply when they contact us.
  • To fix problems. If a call goes wrong, we look at that call.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of third parties to run the service: telephony and speech providers to carry and process calls, an AI model provider to run the conversation, a calendar provider (Cal.com or your own calendar) for bookings, and a payment processor for billing. Each only gets what it needs to do its job. We don't sell data to anyone, and we don't share it for advertising.

The demo line

Calls to (855) 920‑4399 reach our own demo receptionist. Those calls are not recorded. No audio is stored and no transcript is kept. It may ask for your name, your business and a way to reach you. If you'd rather not give them, don't, and the call still works.

How long we keep it

Demo line calls leave no recording and no transcript, so there is nothing to keep. Client account information is kept while you're a client and for a reasonable period afterward for accounting. Client call data, meaning the lead records and call summaries, is kept for the life of the client's account and deleted on request. When you cancel, tell us if you want everything wiped and we'll do it.

Your rights

Whether you're a client or a caller, you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@krelode.com. There's no form and no queue. You'll get a reply from a person.

Cookies and the website

This site uses no advertising trackers. The booking calendar is embedded from Cal.com, which sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) may be kept briefly for security.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll email current clients. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
